Dr. Alecia Zalot

Alecia Zalot, Ph.D., earned her Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and was trained at Yale University for her pre-doctoral internship and post-doctoral fellowship. While at Yale, she developed expertise in state-of-the-science assessment and psychotherapy approaches for adolescents and adults. Throughout her career, Dr. Zalot has served as an individual, group, couples, and family psychotherapist for children, adolescents, and adults. She has extensive experience as a psychological consultant, a crisis interventionist, and is currently an adjunct professor at The University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio Psychiatry Department, where she provides clinical supervision. Dr. Zalot also has presented many times at national conferences and her work in adolescent and family psychology has been published in prestigious scientific journals over ten times.
